I especially benefit from the meditative, creative and social benefits of knitting. I love connecting with others, the zen-like state I attain as I’m knitting to music or in silence, and being able to create beautiful garments to share with my loved ones.

Recent research studies show that knitting or crocheting promote overall health, and can be particularly helpful in managing chronic pain, promoting memory performance and even lowering blood pressure, heart rate, and cortisol levels.
